두아리파 화사 피지컬, 환상의 콜라보

오늘 소개해 드릴 곡은 One Kiss로 유명한 두아리파(Dua Lipa)와 마마무의 화사가 콜라보한 Physical 이란 노래입니다

 

두아리파는 2017년에 데뷔한 앨범 타이틀인 ‘New Rules’가 20억 뷰 이상의 유튜브 조회 수를 기록하면서 단숨에 스타 대열에 올라선 인물인데요, 그 앨범이 전 세계에서 400만 장 이상 판매되고, 브릿 어워드 3개 부분과 그래미 어워드 2개 부분을 수상하기도 했습니다.

 

 

1995년 생으로 만 24세이며 국적은 영국 런던 출신입니다.  코소보-알바니아계 부모님과 함께 어린 시절 4년을 코소보에서 보내다 가수가 되고 싶어 15세에 홀로 영국으로 돌아온 당찬 캐릭터입니다.

 

두아리파의 남자 친구는 벨라 하디드와 지지 하디드의 남동생인 가수 앤워 하디드(Anwar Hadid)이며 2019년부터 사귀기 시작했습니다.

 

 

이런 두아리파가 2018년엔 블랙핑크와 Kiss and Make Up이란 곡을 같이 불렀으며, 2020년에는 화사와 함께 새 앨범의 곡 Physical 이란 곡을 콜라보했습니다.

두아리파와 화사의 콜라보 소식을 화사가 출연하는 '나 혼자 산다'에서 얘기했을 때 기안 84가 조직 이름이냐고 물어봐서 화제가 되기도 했었죠~

 

 

 

화사와의 콜라보는 2019년 12월 일본에서 열렸던 MAMA 시상식에 초대가수로 함께 참여한 것이 계기가 되었습니다. 이 무대에서 화사는 New Rules를 부르고 두아리파는 Don't Start Now를 불렀는데요, 무대 위에서 서로의 퍼포먼스가 맘에 들었는지 Physical을 같이 부르자고 제안이 들어왔다고 합니다.

 

 

두아리파가 KPOP의 저력을 일찌감치 알아본 게 아닐까 하는 생각과 함께 한국어로 부른 노래가 해외 유명 아티스트의 앨범에 들어가게 되니 그 또한 자랑스럽습니다.
